A bit about me, and the strange twist in life that was bound to be!

 

Lazy, quirky, charming, standing proud and tall,

A thousand dreams in these eyes, intense they shine, and say it all!

 

An artist at heart, finer pleasures in life I seek,

What I think is really what I do or speak,

 

The best of plans never worked with me,

And yet I am more detail oriented than most people ever shall be.

 

Nothing in me is hidden you see,

As calm and transparent as the sea, I can be.

And yet beneath the surface, what secrets do lie,

No one knows how deep is the ocean, do give it a try!

As the meandering river flows through the hills, cutting everything along its way

So do my words flow, meant to impress, bound to sway!
 

Writing isn’t really child’s play, every emotion hurts as it hits the pen,

A smile here, a tear there, memories hit you now and then,

 

A passion doesn’t take time to develop, just a few minutes every day

What you really do love, for it you do make a way

 

Never thought I would pen a book,

I had the ingredients, but didn’t know how to cook

 

And then one day it all came to be,

The writer in me found its destiny

 

As I opened my mind, the thoughts came through,

A new way to look at life, Oh I so do love you!

 

Rarely does a man find a passion, there are so few

And I’ve found not one, but two! 🙂

 

So Invest by the day time do I, as I chase fame, not money

And then retire into the sunset each day, and Write my destiny!

Middle Age is a strange phase of life for any individual. The mind wavers between the beautiful teenage memories of the past, the “tense” present and hopes for a better future. It is also one of the most exciting phases of life, some of the most interesting challenges and opportunities come our way in these years. This is also the period when the most crucial decisions of our life get taken, and often the costliest mistakes happen. A period, when life really is all over the place! 🙂

This blog is my attempt at taking my writings outside of the closed loop groups on watsapp, where I have been posting them for the last 1 year, and taking them to the world at large. So that I can move beyond the praises of friends, onto the criticism of unknown audience, and grow further as a writer.
